Wingfoil and wingsurf are the latest trend in water sports, developed from kitesurfing and windsurfing, where you with a handheld inflatable sail surf on a board with hydrofoil planes or simply a SUP board. If you have previous experience in water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding or catamaran and are eager to try something new, wingfoil may be for you.

Learning wingfoiling is a process that requires time, patience and practice, but it can be incredibly rewarding and fun once you start to feel the progress. Many people start to feel comfortable with basic wingfoil techniques after a few days of practice.
Start by understanding the basics - what wingfoiling is, how the equipment works, and the basic principles of wind dynamics. For beginners, use equipment that is adapted for learning. This usually means a larger and more stable foil board and a smaller wing to make it easier to handle in the beginning.
Before you take to the water, you practice handling your wing on land. This will help you get a feel for how the wing reacts to wind and how to maneuver it. Once you feel comfortable with the wing, start focusing on finding your balance on the board and work on getting the foil out of the water. This often takes some time and patience to master.
