Some of our resorts have no Swedish staff on site during the season, and guests won't have a tour leader from Sweden with them during the week either. For these resorts, we're looking for people who can be representatives for UCPA Resor, helping our travellers and us back at the office in Sweden.
We require the following qualities:
What does the job involve?
You need to be available to UCPA Resor (in Sweden), the centre and the guests at the resort if situations arise that they can't sort out themselves. The tasks can vary and may change during the course of the season. The idea, however, is that as a representative you should be able to spend a lot of time skiing and only work in the evenings, on Saturdays and possibly Sundays. You cover your own accommodation, food, lift pass and so on, and receive payment from UCPA Resor based on the number of hours worked.

UCPA - Freely translated to English as "National Federation for Sports and Outdoor Centers" - has a history of over 50 years. It is, in short, a non-profit, all-French organization supported by, among others, the French state. The purpose is to give ordinary people the opportunity to learn and develop in one or more sports together, in pleasant and unpretentious forms. The organization has about 80 centers in France and the West Indies, 28 of them are located at well-known winter sports resorts in the French Alps.

Are you a people person who is passionate about skiing? We're looking for new members of the UCPA family as coach tour leaders!
Our goal is for the coach journey to and from the Alps to be as fun, smooth and short as possible for our guests. We also want the week at the centre and on the slopes to run smoothly and for travellers to always have someone to turn to with questions, or just for a bit of company. As a tour leader, you are the hub that keeps everything together, there for the guests and giving of yourself simply because you love it. You don't need to be a skiing legend, but you do need the desire to make every guest's trip memorable – in your own special way.
The role
You will work as a travel host on our coaches to and from the French Alps. Once at the resort, you act as UCPA Resor's representative towards our guests. Your role includes socialising with and informing the guests, as well as helping out if any incidents occur. Your tasks also include keeping in good contact with the French staff at the UCPA centre and preparing things such as check-in. You join a ski group yourself during the week and, if nothing special happens, you'll have plenty of opportunity to ski.
Ideally, you will:
• Be over 23 and have travelled at least twice with UCPA Resor to the Alps in winter by coach, so that you know and understand the concept.
• Enjoy helping out and building a sense of community in a group, offer honest service and have good social skills. You're used to tackling problems and resolving situations that may arise.
• Be able to work at least two to three weeks spread across the season (weeks 52-16).
• It's not a requirement, but we place great importance on knowledge of French.
• Have a genuine interest in skiing, people and France.

Both we at UCPA Resor and our centres in the French Alps see the value of having Swedish staff on site, as many of the travellers who visit the centres are in fact Swedish. Working for UCPA may not be for everyone. We require you to speak fluent French, love skiing and be keen to meet new people. But if you find our requirements challenging and are ready to give it your all, we can promise extraordinary experiences.
We require the following qualities:
What does the job involve?
You work under the French management at a UCPA centre, mostly at reception. The exact nature of the reception work can vary from centre to centre, but involves typical reception duties, such as checking guests of various nationalities and ages in and out. You also answer questions and help the centre's other staff with information. You are part of the French team serving all the centre's guests, but there may also be time to give the Swedish guests a little extra support and help. Of course, we in Sweden will stay in touch with you during the winter and hope for a great collaboration.
On site you are offered accommodation and food, and receive a salary that covers your day-to-day expenses. You shouldn't expect to be able to put away loads in your savings account, but in return you'll build up your experience, boost your CV and get a memorable experience.
