UCPA offers a unique concept for anyone who wants to improve their skiing. On our trips you have access to a qualified instructor throughout the week. UCPA's instructors have many years of training behind them.
Group allocation
If you want to improve your skiing, UCPA gives you the best possible conditions. There are groups for every level, from beginner to expert. Before the trip or on arrival, you state your skiing level and are placed in a group based on it. On the first day with the instructors there is usually a "harmonisation", and if needed you can be moved between groups to make sure everyone ends up at the right level and gets the best possible progress.
Do I have to ski with the instructor?
Joining the group skiing is completely optional. If you'd rather ski with your friends one day, then go for it. Just don't forget to let your instructor or someone in the group know, so they don't end up waiting around for you unnecessarily. But keep in mind that your group is constantly being challenged and is therefore also improving. So a tip is to be absent at the end of the week rather than the other way round. If you show up for the first time on Thursday, the group's level may have risen since Monday and the challenge could be far too big for you. That's no fun way to end the week.
