All technical equipment is included when you travel with UCPA! By technical equipment, we mean everything you need to do your activity. This applies to both on-piste and off-piste activities, as well as trips without an activity. Every centre has a ski rental shop where the staff will help you find the right equipment. UCPA works in partnership with Rossignol. The equipment is replaced regularly and you will often be lent this year's or last year's models. On-piste activities
The equipment included is:
- Skis or snowboard
- Ski boots or snowboard boots
- Poles
Off-piste activities
The equipment included for these activities is:
- Skis or snowboard
- Ski boots or snowboard boots
- Poles
- Safety equipment: transceiver, probe, shovel, rucksack (a rucksack is not included in Argentière)
Ski touring (randonnée) activities
The equipment included for these activities is:
- Skis
- Boots
- Poles
- Climbing skins, crampons, ski crampons and a climbing harness when needed.
- Safety equipment: transceiver, probe, shovel, rucksack.
Please note! On some randonnée programmes, equipment is not included. You can find more information under each activity.
Helmet
A helmet is not included in the equipment, but it is of course something we recommend you wear. At some centres you can borrow a helmet, while at others you can hire one for the week for around €10-15.
Please note: This is subject to availability. We recommend that you bring your own helmet if you have one.
